Head Shave Fetish Interview : Reese

Ash - How recently did you shave your head bald?

Reese - Friday. I was bored at home because of the whole social distancing thing.

Ash - What was it like before?

Reese - Maybe 3 inches or so. It had grown from a relatively short haircut in December

Ash – Do you have any regrets?

Reese - When I look in the mirror, I can't help liking what I see. The good really overshadows any bad. But I do wish I could have a full head of hair with the same immediacy.

Ash - When did you first start getting the urge to shave your head?

Reese - I was twelve or thirteen. I was seated behind a bald guy in his twenties for about two hours. I couldn't tell if he went bald naturally or if it was a choice. I just remember liking it a lot. It wasn’t till I was eighteen that I masturbated to the idea of it. Wearing different clothes would have happened around that time too.

Ash – Tell me about the first time you shaved your head.

Reese - The first time I shaved my head was four years ago. I worked my way down from just long on top and buzzed on the sides, to long and shaved on the sides, to a high and tight, then a buzz cut that just kept getting shorter till I only had the choice of razoring it. I knew I was going to do it eventually, so I had a decent razor and after shave to ensure things went as easily as possible. Then I was bald for the first time. I kept it like that for maybe three days. Reactions were mixed. Family and older co-workers objected, a few friends liked it, and the rest just went with it, after the initial shock.

Ash - Why did you grow it out?

Reese - It's more about the moment, shaving it for the first time was really fun. Maintaining it, not so much. I’ve done it Three times now. The second time lasted two months. It was really exciting at first. But shaving was a chore.

Ash - What sort of clothing transformations have you done?

Reese - Athletic gear of any sort or baseball hats, never used to be part of my wardrobe. Now there's lots. I like fine mesh materials a lot. I've never really understood why.

Ash - Do you dress up or change your hair and masturbate in the mirror?

Reese - Yeah, usually when I get new clothes or cut my hair. I feel like I'm an autosexual to some degree. Masturbating is far easier. For me a lot of my sexual experiences never live up to the hype that people perpetuate, or I imagine. But I like the idea of having a partner who would contrast me enough that I could find some fun clothes as I raid their dresser. Ideally, they would wear something of mine too.

Ash - Are masculine clothes and looks on yourself a big part of what turns you on?

Reese - I'd say yeah, they aren't things I was comfortable wearing when I was younger. Wearing them now is exciting. And when they become a part of my wardrobe, they give me self-esteem. I guess it brings me more in line with the guys I was attracted to in high school. They were loud, brash, churlish, but always really smart too, more sporty than anything else.

Ash - How did you have your hair cut when you were a kid?

Reese - If my hair ever got too long, I would be forced to get a haircut. I would be bribed to get something shorter or potentially punished. It's abusive for adults to that. I just wanted it to be long. I got to grow it longer as a teenager, so it wasn't super strict. Just a lot of complaining to listen to.

Ash - Do you see yourself as having a feminine side?

Reese - A friend of mine described me as neither very masculine or very feminine. I feel I fall strongly on the male half of the gender spectrum. But I'm sure I'll never fit or exemplify the accepted idea of what a man is supposed to be.

Ash - Do you see having a shaved head as masculine?

Reese - Not necessarily. I think if it’s not associated with masculinity, it comes off as diseased, sterile, or inhuman. Masculine is really the only positive out of those, so it's kind of the default.

Ash- So do you feel masculine when you've shaved your head, or more neutral?

Reese – Sometimes one, sometimes the other. I let my hair define me for a long time. Shaving it off just makes me feel free. A lot of people liked or coveted my hair. It became less like a compliment and just weird over time. If I really wanted a masculine cut, I would get something like a high and tight. Being bald is so much more open ended.
